Faux Real

In the past, fur was deemed a status symbol. In 1929, Vogue wrote an article about fur: The Fur Story of 1929. The article states, "Go without jewels, pocket money, or every-day clothes, but never try to scrimp on fur. For the fur you wear will reveal to everyone the kind of woman you are and the kind of life you lead.” Intimidating right? Today, the fashion world is much less ‘condescending.'
Faux Fur has become very popular. It is available as a coat, vest, top, dress, pants etc and comes in a multitude of colors. Whether you are looking to put an an edge on your outfit or look fancy, faux fur is a great option. I paired my off-the-shoulder faux fur top with trousers that have faux fur cuffs. To complete the look, I opted for black leather pumps.
